I have been wanting to convert my portfolio site (this one) to HTML5 for a while now but had been cautious about the way Drupal 7 would handle the change. With the help of several helper modules and web tools available today, I can safely say that it is possible. Following is a recount of the steps involved for a basic HTML5 conversion of your theme.
